Hey guys, I thought I would write a post about how things have been for myself personally over the past few months in the midst of Corona and take the chance to share a few insights.
To be honest not a lot has changed for me over this period…I consider myself extremely lucky and things have felt normal for the most part.
I did have to go through daily police checkpoints on my way to work but they were not much of a worry.. I was able to continue getting supplies and I had a constant stream of work.
In some ways things worked out well for me, as people were home and with some receiving government payments, it made it easy for me to do tint during the week as people were more available and could afford a few extras. ( all from a distance don’t worry! )
I didn’t have to go into isolation and I didnt get sick.
The only strange things were that I didn’t interact with family and customers as much as what I normally would, social media was all about iso posts and throughout the whole time there was a lot of uncertainty and fear in the air.
How long will this go on for, will people still need my services, will i be able to keep buying supplies and most important of all will everyone be okay?
It’s a big relief that right now things are getting closer to normal and as far as owning a small business.. like i said I feel extremely lucky and grateful…especially for the constant ongoing support from my customers and people i meet along the way!
I know a lot of people lost their jobs and situations and circumstances led to a lot of change and different ways of living for a while. I hope that everyone can get back on track and keep moving positively forward. That if anything we have all learned to be more kind, love more and give more and be happy for what we have in this moment.
I know there is talk that it’s still a long way to life getting back to normal, whatever normal is for you and if normal even exists? Things may never be ‘normal’ and maybe they never were normal in the first place?? But whatever your normal is may it be a good one!
Many blessings
Bianca
