Throughout my time as a window tinter I had often been asked on jobs if I also do glass, can i fix the rubbers that surround windows, repair a window..?? etc. So after a year of being in business I thought it was time to broaden the range of services that Tint Perth could offer and after a bit of pondering and conversing with Glass Shop we thought it would be best for everyone if we just did both!
Tint Perth has collaborated with Glass Shop so that together we can offer you guys the full window treatment you are looking for. Combining window tinting with glass and mirrors is the perfect combination for anyone renovating or building that is looking for all of the above without having to go anywhere else!
Tint Perth and Glass Shop have worked together on jobs where the glass is installed and then tinted or tinting is done and then the mirrors are installed on the same day! There are even times where a window needs to be repaired and the window film needs to be matched against the existing film before being installed.
We have used frosted films in bathrooms, kitchens, for glass partitioning and for privacy which is a more cost effective option then using frosted glass. By combining the two trades, together we can work on finding the most cost effective solutions to suit your design and building needs.
We started promoting our combined services when Corona had just hit Perth and a lot of people were in isolation. During this period a lot of people took the time to take on new projects and we saw a lot of people renovating or redecorating their houses.
With gyms and most of the sports and fitness industry shut down, a lot of people had mirrors installed in their garages so that they could continue to train in the comfort of their own home.
During this time mirror installations for home gyms and in newly renovated bathrooms definitely kept us busy!
One of our favourite custom pieces is a very large circular mirror that is half mirror and half tinted mirror! It is a stunningly bold statement piece that hangs in the front room of a fine jeweller in Perth City. It’s jobs like these that don’t come along too often.. but when they do, they usually end up being the most interesting ones with the most reward at the end!
