It is that time of year again where as soon as the sun starts to pop through the clouds and the days get longer…like clockwork people start to seriously think about getting their windows tinted!
This is when the phone starts to ring throughout the day and the emails start pouring in with enquiries, quotes and people wanting to book in to get their windows tinted before summer hits.
It’s amazing that the sun coming out mixed with the added warmth of these beautiful spring days can create so much interest towards window tinting!
Having tinted windows myself I can most definitely understand the reasoning behind this!
I remember the days when I had no tint on my car and the uv and glare would literally pour through the windows on hot days where the stifling heat would make the air conditioner work over time to cool the car down.
Back in the day…on super hot summer days I would go to the beach and my car would be parked in the direct sun all day…I would literally hop into my boiling hot car that had no tint or air conditioner and literally get heat stroke from the hot drive home!
My car still gets hot… but as soon as I put the air conditioner on it only takes a short time to cool it down and once the car has cooled down it seems to stay cold…so I only have to run the aircon on low speeds after that to feel comfortable. No more heat stroke and drinking gatorades daily woohoo!
Now I can drive in comfort…where the uv and glare no longer make my eyes squint and I have clear vision all round…just like looking through polarized sunglasses.
I feel more secure with the level of privacy that the window film offers.. making it hard to be able to see clearly into my car.. which feels good knowing that my tools and valuables are not getting seen by people passing by.
I also find that things that would usually melt or distort over time either doesn’t or it takes some extreme amount of heat to do so.
I also feel better driving passengers, children and animals around knowing that the sun isn’t beating down on them through hot glass and that they are protected from getting burnt if the windows remain up.
That is just my car…having the windows tinted in my house is just as awesome!
I can sleep better with the darker film I have in my bedroom which blocks out the early sun’s rays allowing me to wake up comfortably and without the uv penetrating through the windows.
The window film stops heat building up behind the curtains which eventually starts to leach into the house throughout the day…this means that the internal temperature is more manageable, constant and requires much less cooling to remain comfortable.
This also means that electricity bills generally decrease over time because the air conditioner doesn’t need to be used as much and for as long after the tint has been installed.
Interior fading is no longer a problem with 99% of uv rays being blocked by the window film.
Clarity and vision is increased and without the glare looking through tinted windows is actually very pleasant to do so… the view will look amazing and as good as if you’re looking through polarised sunglasses.
I love looking out my bedroom window on sunny mornings towards my veggie patch with the sun in full view yet with full clarity and ease.
Daytime privacy is out of this world… you can not see inside at all, especially with the darker window films. I feel much better knowing that prying eyes can’t look through my windows during the day and at night time I close my curtains to feel extra secure.
I love that my house feels nice to be in and live in all year round once installing window film throughout…It is definitely something you have to do to truly understand!
